As author and webmaster, Jay created this website in June 2003 as a result of "The Matrix Reloaded" film and its ongoing discussion on the IMDb.com Message Boards. Eventually, his idea for a "Choose-Your-Own-Path Fiction-Experiment" story emerged, and in collaboration with John True, "The Newcomer" was born. From this single piece of Matrix fiction, an entire world has expanded around the hovercraft "Nosferatu."

He drew his first sketches of Kan-chiang in 08-June-2003, began the first HL Corps thread in 08-Nov-2003, and began co-writing "Chapter 1 - Rainfall" in 01-Dec-2003.
