This fic expands on milder 1994-based scenes from the fic "Really Good Noodles" while providing an earlier darker contrast to the 1999-based fic "The Very Thing (Really Good Head)". Plus more NIN! Thanx - thanx to midnight, alhazred, juliet, andromeda, trinitytinuviel, alina, mts, bisse, quinn, jonna, mammamia, meridian, danascully, avalon, and everyone else. whether we've agreed or disagreed, i truthfully appreciate your suggestions in helping me with this rewrite. i don't feel it's complete, but it's definitely getting there. your crits not only streamlined this version, but sparked and infused new ideas and elements and focus into it. i've extended the 'fate' scene, reworked the 'shower' scene, and extended the 'post-shower' scene as a better tie-in to the 'fate' scene. ultimately, comparing both versions offers me a great way to highlight strengths, weaknesses, and gain insights. thanx again. like before, crits are welcome!
