[Chose Path B2A to accept the invitation.]
"Yeah, that would be ... nice!" In between "be" and "nice", Cy looked down with a shy smile, then looks up at him. Just then he turns to look at her and their eyes lock.
"Oh God, even his eyes are smiling. Snap out of it, Cy; he's old enough to be your father (OK, that's too mean -- an Uncle perhaps). He can never like someone as fat and ugly as you are anyway -- Damn! I am STILL stuck on my Matrix incorrect residual image! OK, look away ONLY because you are heading towards the ladder, girl. That's good."
"Are you OK, Cy?"
"Yes Captain, I was just doing my interior monologue thing again."
"OK, be careful going down the steps. I'll be right --"
Just then Cy is starting down the ladder, the Captain's sentence is interrupted by flashing buttons and a loud klaxon.
Startled, Cy looses her footing and frantically flails with one of her hands hoping one will catch the ladder.
