"What?" Diva uttered. Looking at her monitor again, she saw that her online connection was still active. But with only a single line, how could the phone ring while she was still online? "How can that be?"
The phone -- Brr-Ring! -- rang once more.
Teetering on the edge between her downtrodden fear of the unknown and her defiant curiosity of knowing it, Diva finally fell under her fear and let the phone ring -- Brr-Ring! -- once -- Brr-Ring! -- twice, then -- Brr-Ring! -- three times more, until -- Click! -- the answering machine took over.
Diva's so-happy greeting said, "Hi! Sorry I missed your call. Please leave your message, name, and number, and I'll get back to you!" Then -- Beep! -- the machine began to record...
A woman's voice replied, "Hello, Waterfall. Yes, I think you know 'The Sky is Falling.' But you can call me 'Sky'. If you want to know what the Matrix is, then meet me at the corner of Rainbow and Lakeview."
Then -- Click! -- Sky hung up.
Choose Fall B1 to wait and think.
Choose Fall B2 to erase the message and forget it.
