SUMMARY:
Chapter 1 - Trinity frees someone from the Matrix who will prepare her for her relationship with Neo.
Chapter 2 - Sorcha begins her training as a Resistance fighter under Trinity's guidance.
Chapter 3 - What is life in Zion like for a young soldier? Sorcha struggles with her training, battles psychological demons, and finally makes a promise that may hold her salvation.
Chapter 4 - Trinity and Sorcha struggle to find healing in Zion as their friendship develops.
Chapter 5 - Trinity's return to Zion. Sorcha's desire fulfilled. Ghost's jealousy. Sorcha's greatest accomplishment. Trinity's confusion.
Chapter 6 - Morpheus reveals the existence of Neo to Trinity. Cypher's opinion causes a stir. Trinity and Sorcha spar. And ultimately, the Neb must leave Zion…
Chapter 7 - The true importance of Sorcha's love for Trinity is finally revealed, as they both experience the events of "The Matrix" in their own separate ways.

AUTHOR’S NOTES:
Chapter 1 - The Neo/Trinity relationship is sacred - I feel that strongly. However, I'm of the opinion that Trinity needed a relationship pre-Neo in order to prepare her for the depth of emotion she would come to feel for him. That is eventually Sorcha's role - companionship, love, trust, softening. But this chapter is only the beginning.
Chapter 4 - Special thanks go to: Chord for her enthusiastic encouragement, and to Centaur for permission to reuse the concept of a clear, not-quite-alcohol shot as Zion's favorite drink. She first invented it in "Viola" - all credit for its effects go to her!
Chapter 5 - Special thanks to Centaur for a really helpful and encouraging beta, and for reminding me that Trinity and Sorcha WOULD both have plugs, of course. ;) Suggested listening music: Fluke's "Zion," Melissa Ferrick's "Drive," Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl," and Filter's "Trip Like I Do." Chapter 6 - Thanks go to Centaur for helping me with how Cypher would react to Trinity and Sorcha's relationship. And for sending me "Temptation" and "Touched" by VAST, without which I couldn't have written this chapter. ;) Credit for the title goes to the Smashing Pumpkins. And if you want to listen to something while you read this… I'd recommend "Flames" by VAST. Especially for the last few pages.
Chapter 7 - Special thanks go to Centaur for being a sounding board about my POV dilemma. And for teaching me about existentialism! ;) Can you find the slight references to gazes in here, yo? ;)
Chapter 8 - I don't know how this became a novella, but somehow it did. ;) This chapter could not have been written without my lovely and brilliant partner, who used her formidable computer science skills to help me figure out various plausible ways that Neo may have been able to "delete" Agent Smith. :D
Epilogue - Consummatum est. I can't believe it.
