\njust as lost<\/a><\/p>\n

as he scrambled
\nacross the pebbled shore
\nand scratched his stubbled chin
\nher aquamarine eyes
\nsparkled and shifted
\nas she witnessed the amusing scene<\/p>\n

he hadn’t noticed
\nuntil they found their spot
\nalong the softly flowing edge
\nhe’d lost his keys
\nbetween here and the top
\nof the misty majestic ridge<\/p>\n

so then he scoured
\nacross the scraggly shore
\nlike a sideways scurrying crab
\nwhile her oceanic eyes
\ndarted and drifted
\nlike sunlit windswept clouds<\/p>\n

having more fun
\nthan uma or angelina
\nkilling bill or raiding tombs
\neven more cruel
\nthan miss piggy or gonzo
\nkicking kermit or chopping frogs<\/p>\n

she’s just as lost
\nin her thoughts and whims
\nand can’t get him out of her head
\nher mischievous eyes
\ngleamed and glimmered
