\nuninvited dream<\/a><\/p>\n

you used to love that freckle. always said so.
\nfunny how i had a dream about you last night.
\ni’ve never had a dream of things in the past.<\/p>\n

you were saying that thing from ‘vanilla sky’
\ni kept mentioning things like ‘vanilla’ until you understood.
\ni loved your face when you realized i knew that quote too.<\/p>\n

you loved to say that corny stuff.
\ni guess i liked it deep down,
\nbut now i just roll my eyes at it.<\/p>\n

the magic is gone you know.
\nnew person,
\nnew start,
\nnew times
\ni guess.<\/p>\n

this isn’t about missing you. because i don’t.
\ni actually think i dreamt this because i don’t miss you.
\ndoes that sound weird? at least confusing?<\/p>\n

maybe the dream presented a closed chapter?<\/p>\n

i’m not looking back. or wishing i have what i had.
\ni’m just praising this memory
\nas it popped up uninvited,
\nin my dreams,
