{"id":102,"date":"2006-05-23T05:29:00","date_gmt":"2006-05-23T13:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.xjaymanx.com\/toybox\/2006\/05\/23\/post-352-anime-marathon\/"},"modified":"2009-08-08T15:10:20","modified_gmt":"2009-08-08T23:10:20","slug":"post-352-anime-marathon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.xjaymanx.com\/toyboxx\/2006\/05\/23\/post-352-anime-marathon\/","title":{"rendered":"post 352 ~ anime marathon\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<table cellpadding=\"5\" border=\"1\">\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"110\" align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/MovieDisplay?movieid=70034073\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.nflximg.com\/us\/boxshots\/large\/70034073.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8220;genshiken&#8221; (2005)<\/a><\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\"><b>post 352<\/b> ~ anime marathon over the weekend&#8230; well, pretty close to one, hehe&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>genshiken<\/b> ~ short but sweet!&#8230; finished the 12-ep first season&#8230; ah, the hilarious college antics of an animated-porn-loving &#8220;otaku&#8221; club&#8230; in addition to the anime, spent about 2-3 hours reading the manga versions at the &#8220;borders&#8221; and &#8220;barnes &amp; noble&#8221; bookstores; so the anime was quite faithful to the story and style of the manga!&#8230; even pre-ordered a figure; coming in a few months!\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>fate stay night<\/b> ~ watched the latest fan-subbed episode #20 in the fantasy anime series&#8230; a lighter episode exploring the humor, but also the deeper emotions\/thoughts of the main characters &#8220;emiya&#8221; and &#8220;saber&#8221; and their future if\/when they obtain the &#8220;holy grail&#8221;&#8230;\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>blood+<\/b> ~ AMAZING 1st episode of the anime series, based on the classic 20-30-minute film &#8220;blood: the last vampire&#8221;&#8230; presentation is quite faithful to the original feature&#8230; very slick, stylish, and bloody! ;)))\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>trinity blood<\/b> ~ another AMAZING 1st episode&#8230; brand new series!&#8230; similar to &#8220;hellsing&#8221; in its battle between vampires and the vatican, but taken centuries into the future&#8230; a presentation similar to &#8220;vampire hunter D: bloodlust&#8221;&#8230; again, very stylish, gothic and grandiose!&#8230; and bloody, of course! ;)))\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>kiddy grade<\/b> ~ during my workouts, continued watching this &#8220;teenaged eye-candy cyborg&#8221; series yet again (maybe the fifth time over the past few years?
